Monthly Charity Round-up – September

An charity round-upWishes4Kids Charity Day

It’s been a busy September here at EverythingBranded towers but we’re delighted to have been in a position to support a few great events, charities and causes in the last month.

The most recent event EverythingBranded took part in was the world’s biggest coffee morning on Friday, September 30, the fantastic MacMillan Coffee Morning.

The idea of the coffee morning is the raise funds by buying coffee and cakes at self-run events across the country, with all the funds helping the support of cancer patients.

Our amazing team baked cakes and made coffee, raising a total of £52.58. This figure was then more than doubled by our directors, Paul and Jennifer.

Jennifer Rowlett, Finance Director at EverythingBranded, said: “We’re delighted with the turnout, we raised a good bit of money for a fantastic cause and we are looking forward to doing this again.”

Niche Golf Charity DayWishes4Kids are a Leicester-based charity we have worked closely with in the past. We are pleased to continue working alongside, including two great events in aid of the charity in the last two weeks.

The first event was a fire walk. After raising more than the minimum of £100 to take part, our managing director Paul Rowlett bravely strolled over the hot coals and came away with a certificate to acknowledge his courage for this fantastic cause.

Paul Rowlett, Managing Director at EverythingBranded, said: “I was a little bit nervous and it was actually hotter than I thought it was going to be! But it was for a fantastic cause and I’ve got myself a certificate for my troubles, so no complaints here.”

Later in the month Wishes4Kids held a charity amateur golf competition which was in part sponsored by EverythingBranded. The event was organised by Ashby-de-la-Zouch Rotary Club and took place at Willesley Park Golf Club.MacMillan Charity Day

The event was a fun and challenging way for golf enthusiasts to raise money for a fantastic cause, with the entrance fee of £250 per team going to Wishes4Kids.

The final event we’re taking a quick look at is another golf tournament. Niche Magazine hosted a charity golf event at Leicestershire Golf Club. We were pleased to be able to sponsor the par 4 seventh.

We are also sponsoring Niche Magazine’s business awards, for more information on that event click here.
