National Apprenticeship Week 2018: Louis
Louis took part in the Business Administration Level 2 with a focus on sales support. Louis trained from February 2017 until 2nd March 2018, meaning he has just taken up his full time role following his successful completion of the course!
Louis has already had some great success in his first few days in his new role. In just 2 days, he managed to close 4 jobs!
Here’s Louis’ thoughts on our apprenticeship programme.
What made you choose to take part in an apprenticeship?
I chose to take part in an apprenticeship because I wanted to stay in education whilst earning money and still having a bit of time on my hands.
Why did you choose to do your apprenticeship at EverythingBranded?
I decided to take part in the apprenticeship at EverythingBranded.co.uk because I liked the atmosphere within the company. The staff were very friendly and with the projected growth of the company, there looked to be a lot of opportunity for progression.
What did you enjoy most about your apprenticeship?
The feeling of achievement that I got when it was finally completed the course. After putting in a lot of effort throughout the year I was thrilled to gain the qualification at the end as well as a full time role at EverythingBranded.co.uk.
Were you given a lot of support and guidance during your apprenticeship?
I was not given to much support but I was given enough support to pass, it is better this way as you feel as though you are actually learning by sourcing information yourself and showing initiative. I feel this is a more realistic way to learn as it prepares you for the working environment.
What advice would you give to someone who is interested in taking the path of an apprenticeship?
It can be a great choice if you start with the right company, do not jump on the first one that offers you a job.
