X Factor is back to face the music for the 15th series this September, this popular television show annually looks for the best uprising singer to take the ranks.
X Factor 2017 was accompanied by the judges Simon Cowell, Nicole Scherzinger, Sharon Osbourne and Louis Walsh.
In September, we see three new faces taking the judges spotlight, Simon Cowell will be joined by Ayda Williams, Robbie Williams and Louis Tomlinson, a former member of One Direction, who left to become a solo singer.
This year’s new series of the X Factor will be the most expensive series out of them all with the producers investing £20 million. With a large proportion of the UK tuning in to watch the series, it is important to make sure you have your marketing campaign ready!
One Direction Success
In 2010, five solo candidates, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson auditioned, judge Simon Cowell put the five individuals in a group and with the band name called One Direction. This newly created boy band surprised millions of viewers and went on as Runners up with Matt Cardle crowned the champion.
With Simon Cowell forming this band together, One Direction have sold over 50 million albums worldwide and were the first band to ever have four albums debut at #1. Four of One Direction’s albums have sold over a million copies in the USA, all of this in the space of seven years of becoming a band.
