Paul Rowlett Swaps The Boardroom For The Classroom for his TV Debut

He’s doing what?
Yes, you read it right. EverythingBranded CEO and Founder, Paul Rowlett, is set to become a TV sensation when he stars in the first episode of a new four-part documentary next week called ‘The Secret Teacher’.

When is it?
The series starts on Channel 4 on Thursday, August 8 at 9pm, when Paul goes undercover at Haileybury Turnford School in Cheshunt, Hertfordshire, to give failing students a helping hand and offer a select few the chance of a lifetime.

What’s it all about?
Posing as a support teacher, Paul has to tackle the nerves that come with stepping into a classroom full of potentially testing teenagers while trying to come across as a believable support teacher. All the while, he’s identifying which students he wants to help before revealing his true identity in a finale that will be life-changing for the schoolchildren chosen. Apart from three members of staff, none of the students or staff had any idea that Paul is one of Britain’s leading entrepreneurs. Can he pull it off? You’ll have to watch it to find out.

Paul says…
Talking about the TV series, Paul says: “My school days weren’t happy ones. I came from a broken home and I wasn’t academic.

“However, returning to school has been a positive experience. It was fantastic getting to know the kids, but heart-breaking hearing about their problems both in and out of school.

“Above all else, I’m glad that I have been able to make a difference by getting to know the staff and the pupils there and in turn, providing much-needed financial help to the school and those pupils who really stood out for me.”

The Secret Teacher is feel-good TV at its best, and highlights the huge rewards that come from believing in pupils’ potential, while delivering a dramatic ending.
